The Harp at Your Event
What can I expect for a wedding ceremony?
I will arrive an hour early and set everything up. I provide my own music stand, bench, and amplification system if needed. I will begin playing prelude 30 minutes before the ceremony as guests arrive. For the processional and recessional I will play the songs you chose ahead of time. I may also play during other special moments in the ceremony upon request. After the ceremony concludes, I will play another 30 minutes of postlude music as the guests disperse.
What can I expect for a wedding reception?
Again, I will set up early and begin playing as guests arrive. I can play anywhere from 15 minutes - 3 hours depending on what your event requires. I can also play a custom request song for the first dance.
Do you take song requests?
Absolutely! Your setlist is completely customizable and we will work together to make sure you love every song. Just make sure to give me ample notice so I have enough time to learn the piece. Note that some song requests may incur an additional fee.
What will you wear to an event?
The harp and the harpist are as much a visual element as an auditory one so if you have a color scheme I would be happy to match! Otherwise, I will wear all black.
How far do you travel?
I am based out of Orem, Utah so anywhere inside of 25 miles is included in the normal package. I will absolutely travel farther but it may incur a travel fee . Contact me to get a quote on your event!
What kind of music will you play?
I have a broad range of music including classical, popular, movie music, and more. Refer to the music tab to listen to some samples. For wedding ceremonies I have a selection of traditional wedding pieces the bride can choose from. In general, what I play depends on the event and the tastes and preferences of the client. If you have a preference on what music I play, upon booking we will curate a playlist that fits your style perfectly!
Do you play outdoor events?
These are some of my favorite! I am happy to play outdoors between April-October provided that I have a hard flat surface, shade, and the weather is decent in order to protect the harp. I will also provide amplification if needed for the event.

How do I book you for an event?
Contact me here! Once I get the general information about your event, I will provide you with the exact rate and send you a contract. Once you return it with $100 retainer, your date is reserved! The remainder of the balance will be due 24 hours before the event.
